ChinaCare: Transfer seminar with our project partner KBS was a great success

On the 3rd November 2015 a transfer event for Project ChinaCare was held at the premise of our project partners KBS, in Mönchengladbach. The event was attended by interested parties from the care sector, in particular from practical research and policy making institutes. Mr. Fushun Yao, who has supported the project in Mönchenchgladbach, delivered the welcome to those present. One of the main highlights was a video message from the 4 Chinese teachers who made a visit to Germany in November 2014 with a trade group.

Project partners from kbs, MA & T, Gaus and FIAP present their results at the event, and in connection with this participants presented their discussions about drivers and restraints for the educational exports (nursing) and the further course of the project. In this phase participants discussed the questions and possible business models that can be developed for the export of German know-how in the Elderly Care sector, and how these can be identified. Finally, a look forwards towards the next stages of the transfer phase of ChinaCare: In the spring of 2016 a book will be published by the project partners. They also looked at the possibility of other transfer evets to China (Beijing, Shanghai, Fushun), the chance for success of which can only be strengthened through these results and to the strong relationships with transfer partner in China.
