IAT is “Place of Progress 2015“
The Institute for Work and Technology (IAT) was honoured last Friday by Science Minister Svenja Schulze as "Place of Progress 2015". The award is presented as part of the research strategy "Progress NRW" for the country's ministries of science, industry and urban development at research institutions and is awarded to institutions that combine economic, ecological and social aspects in their work towards promoting innovative shaping for the future. Congratulations were made not only by the residents of the Science Park Institute, but also Minister Schulze and Frank Baranowski, mayor of Gelsenkirchen, and FIAP´s other long-term partners. In his welcome address, Rüdiger Klatt, Managing Director of FIAP eV, gave an outlook on further cooperation with IAT. FIAP is currently preparing a project for local crowdfunding, in which also IAT will also be involved. There are further plans for a joint meeting of the residents of the Science Park Institute on Migration and Integration.
