Symposium: "Innovation in services for electric mobility"

On the 5th February 2014 the Symposium: "Innovation in services for electric mobility" was held in in Stuttgart. The 14 collaborative projects, including KIE-Lab and the metaproject DELFIN, presented their current research at the event.

The symposium was opened by Walter Ganz, Director of Fraunhofer IAO and Monika van Ooyen from BMBF. Christian Hahn, CEO of Hubject GmbH, delivered a presentation on the current problems related to charging infrastructure to professional audience of more than 100 participants.

During the lunch break, KIE-Lab and the other exhibiting projects were able to share their views and make new contacts. Then the seven collaborative projects presented their latest results in 30-minute lectures. The research results from KIE-Lab led to lively discussions and provoked interest. At the end of the day Jens Christian Lodberg Høj used his keynote address to comment on the public case studies on electric mobility in Scandinavia, before pointing to the importance of an early customer integration for the success of business models.

Overall, the KIE-Lab team in Stuttgart gained a lot of new ideas for further research on the integrated development of customer services and successfully present themselves to an interested group of experts from industry and research.
