Discussion "Challenging older workers: An innovative opportunity for companies”

On the 28.05.2013 the "Haus Rheinland-Pflaz in cooperation with the CCI Côte-d´Or (Chamber of Industry and Commerce of Côte-d'Or) held a conference on innovation and abilities of the older employee in German and French companies. FIAP was invited to present strategies and approaches which are being employed in Germany to promote the older worker. The centre point of the discussion was a comparison between Project DEBBI in Germany and the Contrat de génération in France. With many interested parties taking part a lively discussion took place, comparing the different approaches, possibilities to learn from each other and pros and cons, The event was an important step in the German-French relationship at the institutional level and offered both for research as well as for the implementation of important suggestions.br>
