præview magazine, The combined project DEBBI and Metaprojekt DemoScreen, together at the Demographic conference in Berlin. 

THE DEMOGRAPHIC CONGRESS was held in Berlin this year between 4.9.13 – 5.9.13. This exhibition and congress event was attended by more than 800 registered participants and had the backing of 6 federal departments and decision-makers. It hosted networking events and discussions, between health insurance professionals and policy makers, on the economy and to discuss the potential of demographic change. Important topics of the congress were the shortage of skilled workers, health management issues, and the significant impact that the funding priorities of “Innovation and demographic change” can have. In 2012 the journal præview had a combined stand together with Metaprojeckt DemoScreen and the combined project DEBBI, keeping the research work flag flying high. The previous three præview magazines from 2013 were presented, all of which dealt with spending in science and “The demographic opportunity”.

The latest edition of præview was presented here, under the title „Intergenerational Balance – Demographic challenges in the work place in France and Germany“, and appears in both German and French.
