Quality of Service Work

Qualifications, vocationalism and social esteem in service work fields are an important driver of quality and innovation in the service sectors. New research has concluded that this dimension is a major source of capacity and innovation for enterprises and employees.
At the same time this source is hardly developed - especially in the field of personal services - for several possible reasons. In contrast: the lack of esteem, vocationalism and working conditions, which promote health and innovation is a central obstacle to the development of quality-oriented work in service sectors.
The research institute for innovative and preventive job design (FIAP e.V.) investigates the conditions of quality-oriented work in service sectors and develops new models and concepts for a practice-oriented support of service occupations.
